Incident at 9888 United #706

April 11, 2006 -- During the search for a missing person at 9888 United #706, the bodies of two females were found on Monday, April 10, 2006 around 3:41 p.m.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Investigators S. Straughter and C.T. Hufstedler reported that officers were called to the apartment complex located at 9888 United after relatives of a missing women found the body of her roommate in an outdoor storage closet. It's believed the victim had been murdered several days prior to being found.

The body of a second female was found in the trunk of a vehicle that was towed to a storage lot. The cause of death and the identities of both victims are pending an autopsy and notification of family members.

Witnesses told investigators that the victims were last seen alive on Friday, April 7, 2006. The boyfriend of one of the victims was staying at the apartment and has not been seen since this incident. Investigators want to speak with Derrick White who is considered a person of interest.
