Incident at 6001 Bissonnet

September 18, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6001 Bissonnet on September 18, 2005 about 1:20 a.m.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.W. Howard and Officer B. Evans reported:

The unknown victim was seeing entering a vehicle with two Hispanic males. A short time later he was brought back and dropped off at the same location. He suffered a gunshot wound to the back as he was walking away from the vehicle. The victim tried to run away, collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspects attempted to flee the scene but lost control of their vehicle and wrecked it into a concrete embankment. Four suspects got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
