Incident at 8323 Gulfwood

September 6, 2005 -- The cause of death of a child at 8323 Gulfwood about 10 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 5) will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

The victim is identified as Terry Ray Walker, 4, of 8323 Gulfwood.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer P.J. Guerrero reported:

The child was discovered to be unresponsive by his mother's boyfriend. The boyfriend began CPR and called HFD paramedics who continued CPR upon arrival. Terry Walker was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
