Incident at 3620 Woodchase #34

October 29, 2005 -- The cause of death of an infant at 3620 Woodchase #34 about 4:25 a.m. today (Oct. 29) will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

The infant is identified as Jaylen Thomas, 5 months old, of 3620 Woodchase #34.

H.P.D. Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officer I.F. Flores Jr. reported:

Jaylen Thomas was discovered to be unresponsive by a caretaker. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the infant to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
