Incident at 9707 S. Gessner

October 7, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9707 S. Gessner today October 7 about 7:30 a.m.

The identity of the male victim has not been released pending notification of family members.

HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Cervantes and H. Riojas reported:

Patrol officers received a report of a male down at 9707 S. Gessner #109. Upon arrival, they found the victim deceased of an apparent gunshot wound.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots earlier in the morning.
