Incident at 6416 Wallisville Road

November 25, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6416 Wallisville Road at about 12:50 a.m. today (Nov. 25).

The victim has been identified as Jesus Sanchez Jaramillo, 42, of 2034 North Wayside #34. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Booth and Officer J. Sosa reported:

The victim had been inside a local bar at 6416 Wallisville Road. An argument ensued at the location between the victim and an unknown suspect(s). The victim was shot one time in the chest. Family members arrived at the location during the on-scene investigation.
