Incident at 5514 Griggs #322

November 23, 2005 -- The fatal shooting of a man at 5514 Griggs #322 about 12:45 a.m. today (November 23) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The identity of the victim, 39, is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer T.R. Cunningham reported:

Two male acquaintances of the female who resides in apartment #322 had an altercation. One of the males, accidentally shot the other male who was pronounced dead at the scene.
