Incident at 3402 Blalock Drive

November 21, 2005 -- The shooting death of a man found lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 3402 Blalock Drive on Sunday November 20, 2005 about 11:40 p.m. is under investigation.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick and Officer I.F. Flores reported that the victim was an unidentified Asian male who was shot in the back. HPD patrol officers discovered the body after receiving calls regarding gunshots heard in the area. Witnesses told investigators they heard a vehicle speed away after hearing a single gunshot.

The Harris County Medical Examiners' Office will attempt to identify the victim and notify next of kin. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
