Update on Incident at 9707 South Gessner

November 15, 2005 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9707 South Gessner about 7:30 a.m. on October 7.

The suspect, Nickolaus Tyrone Victoria (b/m, DOB 2/3/83), has been charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. Nickolaus Victoria is accused of killing Jermon Zachory Lynch, 22. Victoria is not in custody.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H.A. Riojas and Officer R. Cervantes reported:

Patrol officers received a report of a male down at 9707 S. Gessner #109. Upon arrival, they found Lynch dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses had reported hearing gunshots earlier in the morning.
