Incident at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway

November 5, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway about 2 a.m. today (Nov. 5)

The victim has been identified as Thang T. Nguyen, 24, of 1347 Rainy River Road. He suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. A. Chavez reported:

The victim was found in the passenger seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the neck. The vehicle was found in a motel parking lot at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway. There is no suspect information at this time. The person(s) with the victim at the time of the shooting is asked to contact the HPD Homicide Division.
