Incident at 11900 Bellaire
May 22, 2005 -- Houston police
are investigating the shooting of two men at 11900 Bellaire about
1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2005.
One of the victims, Gabriel Posada, 28, of Nuevo
Laredo, Mexico received a gunshot wound and was transported to
Hermann General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The
second victim, whose name has not been released, also received
a gunshot wound and is listed in good condition at Hermann General
Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.D. Newcomb and
Officer T. Huynh reported:
Posada and the other victim were awaiting payment
for bringing two females from Mexico to Houston and were subsequently
shot while waiting for the money. A white Jeep Grand Cherokee
occupied by three Hispanic males was last seen traveling westbound
on Bellaire from S. Kirkwood.
