Traffic Incident at 22700 N. US 59

May 11, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 22700 N. US 59 on Tuesday (May 11) about 2:20 p.m.

Traffic Division Sergeant N. Nguyen and Officers J. Tippy and R. Breiding reported:

The victim, identified as Morris Mead, 60 was driving a green jeep northbound on US 59. He lost control of the Jeep, which rolled over and struck the median barrier. Mead was ejected from the Jeep and was pronounced dead at the scene.
