Police Release Composite Sketch of Sexual Assault
Suspect
March 15, 2005 -- Investigators
in the Houston Police Juvenile Division Sex Crimes Unit have released
a composite sketch of a suspect
wanted in the sexual assault of a juvenile in the 900 block of
West 21st Street about 7 p.m. on March 7.
The suspect is described as a black male, 30’s,
5 feet 11 inches tall, He weighs about 180-200 pounds and has
coarse facial skin. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a
blue colored shirt. The suspect had a silver badge similar to
an HPD badge.
HPD Officer H. J. Ruiz of the Juvenile Division
Sex Crimes Unit reported:
The victim, a 14-year-old girl, said she was
walking home from a friend’s house in the 900 block of W.
21st in Houston. A black male driving a white four-door Chevrolet
Impala with a dark interior approached the child. The male identified
himself as a police officer and the child was ordered into the
suspect’s vehicle. The child was then driven around the
Houston area and then taken to the 2200 block of Lynnfield. At
that location, the child was ordered from the vehicle and sexually
assaulted. After the sexual assault the child was taken back to
the 900 block of W. 21st Street and released.
