Incident at 1620 Enclave Parkway
June 24, 2005 -- A 22-year-old
man was stabbed to death after an argument over a cell phone on
Friday, June 24, 2005 at 1620 Enclave Parkway around 2:20 a.m.
According to Houston Police Department Homicide
Division Sergeant M. McStravick, Officers B. Evans and I.F. Flores
Jr., patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call and cutting
at 1620 Enclave and found Jonathon Craig Chenevert, of apt # 2716,
with a stab wound in the chest. He was transported to Ben Taub
General Hospital where he later died.
Witnesses told investigators that Chenevert got
into an argument over a cell phone with the suspect described
only as an unknown black male. The suspect stabbed Chenevert and
left the scene with a female who was driving a blue car. That
vehicle was later found. During the investigation officers also
noticed spent shell casings in the parking lot.
This case is still under investigation and anyone
