Update on Incident at 8700 Pattibob
June 23, 2005 -- One of two
suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of
two women at 8700 Pattibob about 11:05 p.m. on June 10, 2005,
has been arrested and charged.
Erskins Rivers (b/m DOB: 10-9-81) was arrested
on Wednesday (June 15) and charged with murder and aggravated
assault with a deadly weapon in the 262nd State District Court.
A second suspect, Brian Wayne Rivers (b/m DOB: 1-24-84) has been
charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
in the 338th State District Court.
The victim, Anthony Craig Howard, 24, died from
multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The two women, Stephanie
Howard, 22, and Viola Howard, 19, each sustained a gunshot wound
to their left leg and were transported to LBJ Hospital where they
were treated and released.

The victims were standing outside a residence
at 8700 Pattibob when Erskins and Brian Rivers drove by and fired
at the group and then fled. Investigators are requesting the public's
assistance in locating Brian Rivers and the vehicle used in this
incident. The vehicle is a 1994 Cadillac, Texas License plate
L62-PHS.
