Incident at 10000 Bissonnet
June 11, 2005 -- Houston police
have arrested and charged a juvenile suspect in the fatal shooting
of a man at 10000 Bissonnet about 9:50 p.m. on Friday (June 10).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 55,
has not been released at this time.

A. Mares reported:
Witnesses stated that the victim was walking
through the Bissonnet Beltway Plaza when several teen-agers approached
him. When the victim asked the teen-agers a question, one of the
teens turned towards him fired at least four times. The victim,
who was struck several times, managed to walk to a nearby restaurant
where he collapsed. He was transported by ambulance to Memorial
Hermann Hospital where he later died.
Witnesses observed the suspect and the other
teen-agers fled into a nearby apartment. Officers obtained the
consent to search that apartment. Once inside, they found the
suspect and several firearms, including the one possibly used
in this incident.
The juvenile suspect, 15, was released into the
custody of Harris County Juvenile probation officials on a charge
of murder.
