Incident at 400 W. 28th
February 23, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the stabbing death of a man at 400 W.
28th on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 about 9:30 p.m.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. D. Newcomb
and Officer T. Huynh reported:
The victim, Lnu Fnu (A/m DOB: 01-01-50), was
walking eastbound on W. 28th when
he was confronted by the suspect who subsequently stabbed him
multiple times. Fnu was transported to Northwest Memorial Hermann
Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect has been described
as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and weighing
roughly 180-190 pounds and approximately 35-40 years of age. He
was wearing a blue and white vertical striped shirt with a white
undershirt, blue jeans, black baseball cap and black boots. The
suspect may be a homeless person riding a red bicycle, who goes
by the name of "Howard". The suspect is known to frequent
the area of 28th and Shepherd/Durham and 23rd and Ella.
