Incident at 11700 Keely Street
February 6, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the skeletal remains found at 11700 Keely
Street on Saturday, February 5, 2005, about 12:05 p.m.
The gender, age, and race of the skeleton is
unknown and will be investigated
by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. There was no apparent
evidence of trauma to the skeleton.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Ferguson and
Officer B. McDaniel reported:
A father and son were walking in an overgrown
lot in southwest Houston not far
from the Astrodome. As they were looking for recyclable materials,
they found
the skeleton of a person. The skeleton appears to have been in
the area for
sometime.
Anyone with information on the possible identity
of this person, or anyone who
may know of person(s) who went missing in this area of Houston,
are urged to
