Incident at 2511 Brewster Street
February 2, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 2511
Brewster Street on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, about 7:45 a.m.
The victims, identified as Shawn Hampton, 28,
of 3700 Market Street and Ricky
Earl Wynn, 25, of 10400 Greens Crossing in Houston, were pronounced
dead at
the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Investigator Sergeant Sam
Kennedy reported:
Both victims were at the home of Shawn Hampton's
girlfriend when two
unidentified males, believed to be acquainted with the group,
arrived in an
unknown type of vehicle. After a short visit and for reasons yet
to be
determined, the two males shot both victims dead. Preliminary
information
indicates that the incident may have been related to drug activity.
The two unknown suspects are described as black
males 18-22 years old. One of
these males has dark skin and is tall, while the other one is
shorter and has
light skin.
