Traffic Incident at 3600 South Richey

December 20, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3600 South Richey about 11:30 a.m. today (Dec. 20).

The victim has been identified as Lawrence Suddarth, 50, address unknown.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. R. Hurd and Officer M. W. Potell reported:

Mr. Suddarth was driving a white Ford Ranger eastbound on South Richey when his vehicle went into a field and hit a tree. His death appears to be from natural causes and is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. There were no witnesses to this accident.

The investigation is continuing.
