Incident at 5000 Briscoe

December 19, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5000 Briscoe on December 18, 2005 about 12:15 a.m.

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Riojas and Officer R. Cervantes reported:

HFD was dispatched to a car fire located in a field at 5000 Briscoe. After the fire was extinguished, the victim was found inside the trunk of the car with a gunshot wound to the head.
