Incident at 4700 South Kirkwood #1516

December 19, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4700 South Kirkwood Drive #1516 on December 18, 2005 about 4:30 p.m.

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending notification to next of kin. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back and head, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.W. Howard and Officer P.T. Yochum reported:

The witnesses and victim were former residents of New Orleans. There had been arrangements made for the witnesses to stay with the victim. When the witnesses arrived at the victim's residence, they found the front door unlocked. The witnesses entered the apartment and discovered the victim shot multiple times. There is no suspect information at this time.
