Incident at 1300 Bunker Hill

December 16, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1300 Bunker Hill about 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2005.

The victim is identified as Jose M. Garcia, 31, of 204 Curtis in Pasadena.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Grysen and Officer C. Park reported:

Witnesses found Mr. Garcia lying in the roadway at 1300 Bunker Hill and called police. HPD officers arrived and discovered the victim had been shot several times. HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced Garcia dead.

Investigators are searching for a four-door Honda with Texas license plates 756GNB, which was seen leaving the scene.
