Incident at 8800 Grand River

December 15, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8800 Grand River around 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2005.

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.K. Peters and Officer M. Walker reported:

Witnesses heard a series of gunshots and observed the victim's vehicle speed off and crash into a wooded area. An unknown suspect was seen exiting the victim's vehicle as another suspect approached. More gunshots were heard and one suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a light green mini-van.
