Incident at 7255 Bissonnet
August 27, 2005 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7255 Bissonnet
about 4:10 p. m. on Friday (Aug. 26).
The victim is identified as Carlos Medina, 18,
of 8909 Sandpiper. Medina suffered multiple gunshot wounds and
was pronounced dead at the scene.

A. Mares reported:
According to witnesses, Medina was standing in
the doorway of a retail store talking to a female who was pushing
a child in a stroller. The suspects approached Medina from behind
and shot him several times. The female grabbed the child and ran
from the scene. The suspects initially fled the scene; however,
they returned a few minutes later, shot Medina again and fled.
The female and child were later located unharmed.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males
in their late teens or early 20s. Each had slender builds and
were approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall.
