Incident at 11315 Fondren

August 23, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found in his apartment at 11315 Fondren on Monday, August 22, 2005 at about 3:20 p.m.

Officers responding to a call regarding an unknown DOA found the victim lying unresponsive on the floor inside apartment # 2604. Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyer and Officer T.S. Tyler learned that the victim had been known to sell marijuana from his apartment, which was ransacked. It's believed that property was stolen from the apartment as well.

At this time the cause of death is unknown and investigators do not have an identity of any possible suspect(s). The identity of the 55-year-old black male victim is pending notification of family members.
