HPD Seeks Public's Help in Locating Missing Person
August 18, 2005 -- Investigators
in the Houston Police Department Missing Persons Unit are requesting
the public's help locating a man who has been missing since Monday
(Aug. 15).
The missing man has been identified as Sammy
Kirk, 76, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, dark brown
complexion, brown eyes and bald.
HPD Juvenile Division Missing Persons Unit Officer
T. Pham reported:
Sammy Kirk left his residence, 5834 Southlea,
stating he was going outside to sit. It was later discovered he
was not outside and could not be located. Family members believe
Sammy has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease. Sammy is
diabetic and in need of medication.
Anyone with information on Sammy Kirk's whereabouts
is urged to contact the HPD Missing Persons Unit at 713-731-5223.
