Update on Incident at 2100 Tannehill Drive
August 18, 2005 -- Houston police
have learned the identity of a man fatally stabbed at 2100 Tannehill
Drive #2112 about 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 16). He has been
identified as William Keith Hall, 30, of 2100 Tannehill Drive
#2112.
The suspect, Abraham Ortega (H/m, 6-4-84), has
been arrested and charged with capital murder in the 179th State
District Court.
HAD Homicide Division Sergeant L. A. Flores and
Officer P. Yochum reported:
William Hall and Ortega got into a physical altercation.
At some point during the altercation, Ortega produced a knife
and stabbed Hall multiple times in the torso, neck and facial
area. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.
Ortega fled the scene in Hall's vehicle and was apprehended a
short time later after a brief chase in that vehicle. The investigation
is continuing.
