Incident at 7402 Bahia Lane

August 11, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a 23-month-old male at 7402 Bahia Lane on Sunday, August 7, 2005.

The child has been identified as Joivonni Viverette of 7402 Bahia Lane.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Mosqueda and Officer L. Benavidez reported:

Houston police responded to a call at 7402 Bahia Lane and found the child dead on the living room floor. An autopsy was performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office and preliminary results indicate Viverette died of multiple blunt trauma. Various people have been interviewed in this incident and the investigation is continuing.
