Incident at 8500 Gulf Freeway
April 30, 2005 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8500 Gulf Freeway
today (April 30) about 2:15 a.m.
The victim, Alejandro German Jr., 24, suffered
gunshot wounds to the upper torso and the left leg. He was pronounced
dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. R. Kennedy
and Officer J. C. Bonaby reported:
The victim and several friends were walking in
the parking lot of local pool hall when they were approached by
a group of people. Witnesses stated that an argument erupted which
led to a large physical altercation between the two groups. An
unknown Hispanic male produced a handgun and started firing into
the group, striking the victim. Several of the males got into
a black Ford F-150 truck and both men continued to fire at the
group as they fled the scene.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males
leaving in the black truck.
