Incident at 7700 Greenash
April 11, 2005 -- Houston police
are investigating the shootings of two men at 7700 Greenash about
9:45 p.m. Sunday (April 10).
The identities of both white male victims are
being withheld pending positive identification. One victim was
pronounced dead at the scene and the second victim was transported
to an area hospital in critical condition. Both suffered gunshot
wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and
Officer M. Walker reported:
HPD officers responded to the scene of a reported
double shooting at 5810 Fondren at Greenash. The victims were
laying on the ground in a private driveway connected to an apartment
complex. They were the apparent victims of an attempted robbery.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males
in their twenties, driving a silver or gray Honda Civic with tinted
windows.
