Incident at 200 Stratford

April 5, 2005 -- Houston police arrest and charge a 20-year-old man for the stabbing death of a man that occurred in the 200 block of Stratford on Monday, April 4, 2005
around 8 a.m.

According to HPD Homicide Division investigators Officers R.P. Martinez and E. Gonzalez, officers responding to an assault in progress call discovered the body of an unidentified Hispanic male lying behind a trash dumpster. A possible suspect, Reginald Jackson (bm/ DOB 2-15-85), was arrested as he fled from the scene. Witnessed told investigators that Jackson was seen assaulting the victim before police arrived. Reginald Jackson admitted stabbing the man several times.

The identity of the victim is pending notification of next of kin by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

Jackson has been charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court.
