Stephanie Haechten

Stephanie Haechten assumes the role of Senior Community Outreach Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, leveraging a distinguished background in special education, not-for-profit leadership, and strategic planning.

Over the past 12 years, Stephanie has contributed significantly to not-for-profit organization roles as a classroom teacher and campus administrator at two special schools within the Houston area. Most recently, she served in a pivotal capacity at a social services agency dedicated to women and their children experiencing homelessness.

Stephanie's academic qualifications underscore her commitment to excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Texas A&M University (2012), a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University – Global (2017), and a Master of Public Policy from American Public University (2023). Her diverse skill set and extensive experience uniquely position Stephanie to drive impactful community outreach initiatives within our organization.
