John SerranoJohn Serrano assumes the role of Senior Staff Analyst for the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, he is a native New Yorker but a Houstonian at heart.

Over the course of his distinguished 9-year career with the City of Houston, John has demonstrated his proficiency in managing various technology and public infrastructure projects and programs for ARA, HPD, and HPW. Prior to his current position, he played a pivotal role in leading long-range planning, budgeting, and prioritization efforts for initiatives such as the Mayor’s Street Rehabilitation and Proactive Pothole Initiatives and the City of Houston’s Pavement Management Program.

John's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Global Management from the University of Houston – Victoria. He holds certifications as a Project Management Professional and Envision Sustainability Professional, contributing to his expertise in the field. Additionally, John is an esteemed member of the American Public Works Association, further solidifying his commitment to excellence in public service and infrastructure management.
