Most people love singing that reaches the soul. The type of singing that makes you want to connect with an artist and follow them home to see what makes their heart song so passionate! This type of artistry is embodied in Jenn Powell, affectionately known as JenniP Music. Jenn originally hails from the musical city of Memphis, Tennessee! The city known for birthing great talent! Her musical journey started as early as age 4 with great influences within the family. Having a plethora of musical members to include grandfathers who are songwriters and musicians, and a grandmother as a singer and radio announcer, she was destined to do music. Jenn's father being multifaceted in music and her mother singing, both began crafting her musical gift in church, singing and leading with choirs and allowing her grooming to be perfected throughout school. Raised as a military kid, she experienced a wide range of musical cultures and settings. Her big, boisterous voice afforded her the opportunity to be around great gospel artist such as Steve Lawrence, Maurette Brown Clark, Sheri Jones- Moffett, Renetha Macklin, Myron Butler, Todd Dulaney, JJ Hairston, Fred Hammond and a host of other big industry names in and out of the gospel realm. Jenn spent her time serving others by vocal coaching, opening for and doing BGVs for various artists and providing studio vocals for numerous albums. She has solo features on numerous projects and one single, Because of Your Grace, that speaks of her life's journey and experiences that have brought her to where she is today! Jenn’s voice and ministry combine to speak to the hearts of the broken and discarded. Her songs will encourage and bring hope to the fact that everyone has a place and purpose in God’s Kingdom.
