SENIOR LIEN COMMERCIAL PAPER NOTES,
SERIES A (AMT)
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the City of Houston, Texas (the “City”) on September 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interested parties may join the public hearing on the date and the time indicated above by dialing +1-855-282-6330 (US Toll Free) and, when prompted, entering the meeting code 2662 936 2189#.
The hearing is regarding a continued plan of finance for the issuance by the City of the above-named commercial paper senior lien notes (the “Notes”), all or a portion of which may be issued and outstanding as exempt facility bonds for airports pursuant to section 142(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). The Notes will be issued pursuant to a program to issue commercial paper (the “Program”) to finance or refinance City airport projects (the “Projects”) located at or adjacent to (i) George Bush Intercontinental Airport, 16930 J. F. Kennedy Boulevard, Houston, Harris County, Texas 77032, (ii) William P. Hobby Airport, 7800 Airport Boulevard, Houston, Harris County, Texas 77061 and (iii) Ellington Airport, 11900 Old Galveston Road, Houston, Harris County, Texas 77034. An aggregate maximum stated principal amount of up to $350,000,000 of Notes may be outstanding at any time under the Program, and all or any portion of such amount issued under the Program may be allocated to any or all of the Projects at any given time. The initial and exclusive owner of the Projects is and will be the City, including the Houston Airport System, which is a department of the City.
All interested persons are invited to attend such public hearing to express their views with respect to the Notes and the Projects.
