The Special Investigations Command has citywide responsibility for delivering a diverse array of specialized investigative police services to the city of Houston and the surrounding area. An assistant chief is responsible for the oversight and supervision of six divisions, each led by a commander. Auto Theft, Major Offenders, Narcotics, Vice, Special Victims and Cyber and Financial Crimes.
