Two Southeast Division officers were on the scene of a family disturbance call-for-service when they heard several gunshots nearby. One of the officers walked out towards the street to investigate and observed a white Ford Expedition driving slowly eastbound. The vehicle had two (2) males inside. The driver of the vehicle pointed a weapon at the officer, at which time the officer discharged his weapon towards the suspect. The vehicle initially sped off down the street, but then stopped. The suspect discharged his weapon three (3) times towards the officer before fleeing the location. At this time, it is unclear if anyone in the vehicle was struck. No officers were injured during this incident.
