Officers were dispatched to a person with a knife/stabbing in progress at the Hanover Autry Park Apartments. Officers arrived on scene and observed a male complainant lying on the ground unresponsive, and a male suspect wearing all black walking towards them holding a knife. Officers gave the suspect multiple verbal commands to drop the knife but the suspect refused to comply and began approaching the officers while still armed. Officers discharged their weapons striking the suspect in the right elbow and lower abdomen. The suspect was transported to Ben Taub Hospital for treatment.
