Officers from Midwest Division observed a robbery in progress with a suspect shooting at the other party. Officers converged on the suspects when one suspect pointed a gun at an officer. At this time, the officer discharged his weapon striking the suspect once. Suspect was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Suspect was charged with Aggravated Assault Against Peace Officer. Two additional suspects were taken into custody and charged with Robbery.
