Officers were dispatched to a Family Disturbance call at Greens Road. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who informed them the suspect, her boyfriend, was possibly under the influence and he was acting erratic and tried to attack her, so she ran from the apartment and called 911. Officers located the suspect walking outside the apartment and observed him to be holding a firearm. Officers gave the suspect verbal commands to drop the weapon, to which he did not comply, and began to approach officers. Officers discharged their weapons striking the suspect in the torso. The suspect was transported to HCA Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
