October 22, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 5550 North Braeswood Boulevard about 8:45 p.m. on Monday (October 21).

The identity of the victim,72, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Providence and A. Herrera reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person in an apartment at the above address and found the victim having suffered multiple lacerations and blunt force trauma. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the man deceased.

According to a witness, the victim had not been heard from for a few days, which prompted a family member to check on him.

At this time, there is no suspect(s) or motive.
