HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound. Offices provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male, later identified as Mr. Jordan, deceased.

A preliminary investigation and witness statements determined Jordan was followed home by two male suspects, who then took the victim's jewelry and shot him. They fled the scene on foot.

At that time, the suspects were described only as two black males believed to be in their early 20s.

Further investigation identified Dukes and Green as suspects in this case. On June 7, a warrant was issued for Green's arrest. He was arrested on July 25 and booked into the Harris County Jail.

On October 3, Dukes was charged. He remains at-large and is believed to be in San Antonio.
