October 2, 2024 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3030 Elmside Drive about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 1).

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Althaus and D. Davis reported:

Officers responded to a person down call at the apartment complex at the above address and located an unresponsive male in the parking lot. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

There is no known motive or suspect(s) descriptions at this time.
