June 23, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4100 Galveston Road about 6:45 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased female, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer J. Gaona reported:

The female was driving a red Toyota Camry behind a black Ford Escape, traveling southbound at the above address when her vehicle struck the Ford's back left side. The Toyota rolled and struck a white BMW X3 traveling northbound. Houston Fire Department paramedics were called and pronounced the female deceased at the scene.

Paramedics transported the occupants of the BMW to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
