June 12, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 11960 Airline Drive about 2:30 a.m. today.

The identity of the male, 19, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad and L. Gonzales reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. Upon arrival they found the male inside a tan SUV that had crashed into several other vehicles in the parking lot. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. He had suffered a gunshot wound to his back.

At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
