June 9, 2023 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 3441 Mainer Street about 11 a.m. on November 7, 2022.

The suspect, Lee Robertson, 42, is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. A booking photo of Robertson is attached to this news release.

He is charged in the death of Talisha Grooms, 34.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Sharp and E. May reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Ms. Grooms on the sidewalk. She had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

After further investigation, Robertson was identified as a suspect in this case. On Thursday (June 8), Robertson was arrested on unrelated charges and subsequently charged in this fatal shooting.
