June 2, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11600 Briar Forest Drive about 3:15 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer S. Bouarar reported:

The male was driving a silver Nissan 350Z at a high rate of speed eastbound near the above address and failed to stay in a single lane. The vehicle then left the roadway and struck a wall at an apartment complex.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.
