June 2, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 15900 Lee Road about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (June 1).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer C. Brothers reported:

The male was driving a blue Buick LeSabre northbound near the above address, ran the red light at the intersection of Greens Road and struck the front of a maroon Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound on Greens Road. The Buick went into a ditch and rolled onto its roof.

The Buick's driver was pronounced deceased. The Jeep's female driver, 22, was not injured. She did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released. The investigation is continuing.
