October 11, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 900 St. Emanuel Street about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 10).

The victim, Alex Green, 30, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers I. Rios and A. Merino reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting at the above address and were advised Mr. Green was shot in the chest during an altercation with a suspect.  It appeared Green initially argued with one suspect when a second suspect pulled a gun and shot him.  The suspects, described only as black males, 20 to 30 years old, then fled the scene in a white Mustang.
